The Theater for Humanity logo is based on the Adinkra symbol Boafo Ye Na.

The symbol in the Theater for Humanity logo is called Boafo Ye Na (pronounced: boh-ah-foh yeh nah). Boafo Ye Na means “The rarity of a willing helper” or “helping hands do not come by so readily.”

Boafo Ye Na expresses the Akan social thought and code of conduct that recognizes that genuine help is golden and does not easily come by.
